Podgorica, April 14, 2025 – Zapad bank has committed to donate €18,000 over the next year to support the "Učionica družionica" program, an initiative by the Udruženje Roditelji aimed at providing educational support to children from socially disadvantaged families.
This donation will enable continuous educational and psychosocial assistance throughout the year for over 40 children at the "Božidar Vuković Podgoričanin" Elementary School in Podgorica. The "Učionica družionica" program is also currently implemented at the "Milija Nikčević" Elementary School in Nikšić and the "Marko Miljanov" Elementary School in Bijelo Polje.
The donation agreement was signed by Lesia Vykhodtseva, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Zapad bank; Belkisa Zoronjić, Board Member of Zapad bank; and Kristina Mihailović, Executive Director of the Parents Association.
“Over the past decade, we have achieved significant business results, but we are especially proud to have become a reliable partner to society, present when support is most needed. Guided by these values, we have supported the 'Učionica družionica' program, which will provide over 40 children with better conditions for learning and development in an atmosphere of support and understanding. With this donation, we symbolically confirm that Zapad bank continues to strengthen all initiatives that contribute to a better, fairer, and more humane society,” stated Lesia Vykhodtseva.
